Rotted Wood Pests

An Ice Dam is a hump of ice that forms at the edge of a roof under certain winter time conditions.

An ice dam can damage both your roof and the inside of your home. It will put gutters and downspouts at risk and ultimately your

basement too.

Overflowing water from the gutters can also damage the paint and siding on a home, but unsightly water marks down the side of the house pale in comparison with what happens if the water get inside of a wall. Wet wood rots and loses its integrity, and this can go unseen behind the siding until it is too late.

Lack of cleaning will also cause water to pond in areas dammed by debris.  This condition is ideal for breeding mosquitoes.

Bugs love moisture.  Plants, birds, insects and even mice will make a home in gutter debris.

Rain water must flow away from foundations!

Because of the high demand of roof, gutter and basement foundation problems, we started a Gutter Guardz division to help our customers prevent a lot of these issues. It all comes down to the preventive maintenance on your gutters.

Most problems on homes start with routine maintenance on gutters, that needs to be done at least once a year  Prolonged wear and tear on a home leads to major problems and repairs that can be costly. Rain water not flowing away, and temperature change play havoc on your roof system, gutter system, soffit, fascia, siding and foundation.

If repairs are not made your basement could leak, walls move, slabs shift. If your basement if finished, drywall, paneling, ceilings may have to be removed for work to commence. Very costly endeavor. All the things we do daily through our working partner McCoy Contracting. We see first hand the problems that arise from poor gutter maintenance.

We have a basement division at Seamless Industries that preps the customers house before the major basement work begins. After major repairs are made we put the basements back together.

Gutter Guardz is a good investment and the best protection to prevent these problems from happening to your home.
